Sittings & Notices
The Legal Year of the Supreme Court commences in the month of September in every calendar year and ends on the 31st day of July of the following year. The Supreme Court is on official vacation during the month of August and on short recess at Christmas for specific periods determined by the Chief Justice by Order published in the Official Gazette.
When the Court is not on vacation, the Court of Appeal and the High Court sit to hear matters in accordance with Weekly Hearing Lists published by the Registrar of the Supreme Court, identifying the date, time and place of each sitting and the matters to be heard before each Court.
